A family owned business since 1952, utility specialized metal has been a leading industrial sheet metal fabricator and installer with an excellent reputation for workmanship and safety. Utility specialized metal specializes in heavy gauge metals and performs to the highest standards and industry specifications. We work with a variety of metals including galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, titanium, copper and many more. We specialize in 1/16" and heavier but we are equally as adept to 26 gauge, 0.018.
Water Jet cutting in house. We can cut all types of material, steel, stainless steel, copper, granite, tile, rubber, plastics, wood, glass, stone just to name a few. Very thin material to 10" thick is no problem to cut. Single pieces or large quantity runs are easily worked in to scheduling.
Utility specialized metal has the capability to form 12 feet of 3/8" mild steel, shear 3/16" plate up to 10 feet long and punch a 4" hole through 1/4" plate. USM has two additional 12' press brakes that can for up to 10 gauge, 1/8". MIG, TIG, and electrode welding of various metals are our specialty. We also fabricate to the highest of food grade standards.
Shutdowns, deadlines, small or large projects, USM will meet your time line. We have the capability of being on site in a few hours with one man or twenty men as the job and time dictates. USM is also dedicated to safety in all areas and our employees has been trained to work in confined spaces, sewage treatment, grains handling, and highly explosive areas. Our company has considerable experience working in cold rooms, extreme heat areas, and around dangerous gases and moving parts.
